Rise and shine! Cool shower and a filipino breakfast to wakes you up and gets you ready for a long day.
The "captain" of the rented boat is already waiting at the reception and he escorts us to his pump-boat.
It takes about half an hour to reach the islands. At first the smaller inhospitable islands look like giant mushrooms floating on water with lush foliage on top.
The first stop is Governor's Island, one of the few islands developed for tourism. The top of the island proofs to have a birds eye view of the many island surrounding it. It is a steap climb, but we made it, worth the sweat and puff. While on the top a large family also arrived and by seeing that big white kano, they insisted on a group photo with us. Roaming around the island, Jas noticed a ZIP-line and wants to try. I waited at the end of the ZIP-line, where there is a Mermaid hiding in one of the caves.
Moving to the next island: Quezon Island. This looks more like a beach resort with restaurant and water sports. Time for lunch, although not that much choice available. There is another ZIP-line, irresistable to Jas of course.
Sailing to the next and last island: Marcos Island. This only has a stretch of white beach and some underground caves. While jas was enjoying swimming in the turquoise waters, I nodded off in one of the pagodas.
Mid afternoon and time for our last long boat ride to Alaminos pier. It was a nice experience. The places we visited were not overcrowded, at least not at that time. However the development frightend me a bit; the expanding tourism development will damage the islands.

Leaving paradise behind....
Back in the hotel, exausted, a shower and brief nap is on order. The sun sets and we relax in front of the hotel's patio. Stomachs are calling for food. We order from the hotel restaurant. Nothing special but satisfies our bodies.
The night is young. A few beers to kill the time while the kids entertain us.
